WÜSTHOF is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven E-commerce Planner to support the financial and operational success of our growing digital business. Reporting to the Senior E-commerce Manager, this role is responsible for driving e-commerce planning through sales forecasting, inventory planning, financial analysis, budgeting, and performance reporting.
Working closely with Digital, Finance and Supply Chain, the E-commerce Planner will translate data into actionable business insights that optimize inventory, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making across all e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and retail planning expertise with a deep understanding of e-commerce performance metrics and cross-functional collaboration.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
Support annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
Analyze business performance, including sales, margins, profitability, inventory, and promotional results.
Develop sales, demand, and inventory forecasts across e-commerce channels, including Amazon and Shopify.
Provide SKU-level forecasting, replenishment recommendations, and inventory planning support.
Monitor key KPIs and identify opportunities to improve revenue, inventory productivity, and operational performance.
Conduct promotional planning analysis and post-event reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product launches, inventory strategies, and business initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Retail Merchandising, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in financial planning, inventory planning, merchandise planning, or business analysis.
Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Experience supporting retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce businesses.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central required; experience with Shopify Analytics, GA4, and Klaviyo preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Milford, CT. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance to be considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.
