Position Overview

As the VP, Finance, you will oversee all aspects of accounting and finance functions for a ~$80MM consumer goods company. This includes all of the day-to-day business needs, such as overseeing A/P, A/R, cash flows, budgets, financial statements, audits, mo-end/year end close functions and all other finance related initiatives along with financial and business analysis. This role should be process and deadline driven along with strong people skills to develop and mentor a small finance team, team of 6. A fair amount of time will be spent interfacing with the Global CFO and Accounting Team in our Germany headquarters.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities include:

  •      Controlling, reporting, budget planning, managing cash flow         

  •       Supervise finance staff                                                                      

  •       Establish best accounting practices for day to day/overall operation       

  •       Vendor relationship management                                                   

  •       Financial and business analysis 

  • Ad hoc, special projects                                                       


Requirements:

 

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

·         Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, especially excel) & BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI; comfortable working with large data sets

·         Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

·         Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

·         Accounting/Finance Degree, CPA preferred

·         Experience in CPG industry in a global setting

·         Collaborate with Global CFO and finance team
